Fordzilla P1 Team Invites Gamers to Design a New Race Car

Opinions and opinions of gamers may now be one of the opinions that are taken into account, especially in video game development. Because of course they are the main consumers and they are the ones who play the game and feel what needs to be fixed or improved. However, to develop a car, especially from a well-known brand, may be something that has never existed or even been imagined.

But that is what the car manufacturer Ford did through its esports video game division “Fordzilla racing team” which made an announcement on their official twitter account to invite gamers to help them build a new racing car. The project itself is called “Team Fordzilla P1” (or Project 1) and is predicted to become “the ultimate virtual racing car” aka “best virtual racing car”.

And from the name of course you can see that the final result of this project is a concept car in the game. Although it will not be produced at the factory, Ford said it will be totality in working on this concept car. Because later gamers will collaborate directly with Ford designers from scratch. This car itself will not be based on any cars ever made by Ford.

So that later when the designers start designing the car, several design alternatives will be offered and you gamers are free to choose which design you like the most via a Twitter poll on their official account @TeamFordzilla. Ford himself said that the polls that will be made will be detailed from the engine to the cockpit design.

The poll itself will start on March 11, 2020 local time, and will continue until Project 1 is completed. Those of you who are interested in participating, of course, can go directly to their Twitter account to see the progress. Of course it’s interesting how this project will go on and how the end result will be when this concept car is finally finished.
